FINDLEY, PGA Golf Professional
A native of Toronto Ontario Canada, Don Findley spent his entire
life dedicated to the Golf Business. He held the position of
Director of Golf at North Halton Golf & Country Club in Georgetown,
Ontario for ten years before moving to Bradenton Florida in 1979.
He began working at the House of Golf in Sarasota as a custom club maker and also did all the club repairs.
After having worked there for six years he went to work at El Conquistador Country Club as a Golf Professional and was involved in teaching and golf clinics.
In 1990 he was named Teacher of The Year of the Southeast Region
for the Spalding Golf Company.
Members of Longboat Key Country Club and Serenoa Golf Club have
also benefitted from Don’s teaching skills.
